Broadcast your heart rate from Garmin Watch for studio
Supported Garmin watches can broadcast your heart rate over ANT+ directly to our studio, after setting the Device ID in the app.
See if your Garmin supports ANT+ broadcasting by following this link: https://support.garmin.com/en-ZA/?faq=Zj1947s6pqAHzBCAhLhrC9
Add your device ID on the Fitillion app
- Get Garmin device ID: Get the Unit ID on your watch. Open the watch menu and go to System->About and you will find a Unit Number. How to get to the System->About menu is device dependent, so please see your manual. Make a note of this number. Eg:

- Book and Check In on App: On the Fitillion app, book a Studio workout and check in 10minutes before the workout. Alternatively, you can open the More tab on the app an tap Connected Apps and Devices, then Tap on Heart Rate Monitor(Bluetooth) to capture the Unit ID.
- Setup Heart Rate on App: Once checked in, on your Home tab in the app, you should see a Heart Rate tile. Tap on it to setup heart rate.
- Capture ID on App: Now your should see a text input on for the device ID. Type the Unit ID from step 1 in and save. On your Home tab it should say “Awaiting connection” on the heart rate tile now.
- Broadcast heart rate from watch: To activate Bluetooth heart rate on your watch, add the Virtual Run activity and then start it. Detail instructions can be found here:
https://support.garmin.com/en-ZA/?faq=pyniXQfLiu3BS1yKFlLn36. Alternatively, on some watches, start an activity on your watch and go to Settings -> Wrist Heart Rate -> Broadcast Heart Rate -> Start.
- Check: if you are in a studio, the Heart rate tile should get a green tick and say “Connected”. This is an indication that the device is connected and sending ANT+ signals to the studio receiver.
